This 4 Days safari takes you to Kidepo valley national park which is ranked among top African wilderness. Kidepo Valley National Park lies in the rugged, semi arid valleys between Uganda’s borders with South Sudan in the north west and only 5km from the eastern border of Kenya, some 700km from Kampala.
This 4 days safari to the north will take you to Kidepo which is home to 77 mammal species and the park offers great opportunities for game viewing. 20 species of predator are present, including lion, leopard, and spotted hyena.
In Uganda, black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, cheetah, and caracal are endemic to Kidepo. The elephant population is over 650 (up from 200 in the mid ‘90s), buffalo are estimated to exceed 10,000, and there are over 50 Rothschild’s giraffes, an internationally important population. Zebra graze on the plains and both greater and lesser kudu.

Have breakfast early in the morning and after, embark on your game drive through Narus Valley of Kidepo Valley National Park
.Expect to enjoy excellent view of wildlife like buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, birds and many more. Retreat from a game drive to have lunch and some relaxation after 3-4 hours’ of wildlife expedition.
In the afternoon, a visit to Karamajong Manyattas will be your next tour activity. A cultural tour at Karamajong community offers you opportunity to learn more about their lifestyles, enjoy their dances, music and also explore other cultural practices. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
After breakfast, set out for a guided nature walk via Kanangorok hot springs. Expect to sights variety of wildlife and birds including lots of ostriches.
Walk back after your 2 or 3 hours’ of nature walk to have lunch and in the afternoon/evening, you will go for evening game drive to sight for more wildlife including those you didn’t see the previous day. Dinner and overnight stay at wildlife safari lodge.
Have breakfast and after, check out of your Uganda wildlife safari lodge then drive back to Kampala/Entebbe about 9-10 hours’ drive. This will mark the end of your 4 days Kidepo wildlife tour.
